Puppy Paradise and Red Sox VIP Style

Isn't that just the cutest face you have ever seen? :) I get the lucky pleasure of living in puppy paradise for the week and take care of my bosses dog while he is on vaca. That right there is the lovely Lorna! She is a Coton de Tulear. That is some fancy smancy French wording meaning shes really soft like cotton. She is less then a year old and is full of energy. I can only imagine what a toddler will be like considering she is so off the walls and curious about everything! She decided it would be a good idea to chew apart the strap of my flip flop last night as me and Ray watched a movie in the dark on the couch. I should have known she was up to no good when she was quiet and calm. Anyways......

That would be the fabulous Absolut Clubhouse attached to Fenway Park. You know, the one that you can only get into if you have really fancy tickets up real close to home plate? Oh, you don't know? Yeah, neither did I.
Those would be the fancy tickets for the fancy seats. We were two rows from the field. You could count the little blades of grass if you wanted to! Strange way to put it, I know. Usually my seats for Boston sporting events are so far back that the players look like little dots, so to be able to count the blades of grass on the field if I wanted to was a novelty. Let the judging commence....

Ray felt the need to be fancy and drink his $10 manly ice tea with his pinky out so we could fit in with the crowd.  Ahhhh the cuteness. I don't know how I handle it...

That would be Big Papi up at bat. No zoom necessary :) Another cool feature with these seats....WE HAD A WAITRESS!! Sorry, shouty capitals are annoying, but I thought this was really neat. No need to push through people to get to the beer stand, no need to wait in line forever and miss the game, no need to watch the roaming vendor guys hoping what you want will soon come down you isle and you can catch him before he leaves again.....She just came right over and asked what we wanted and viola!

And then it all ended in a 2-1 win for the Sox! It was a pretty cool game to be at. We enjoyed every second of it! The tickets came with one more perk, free parking across the street. After rushing from work in the Waterfront area of Boston at 5pm to Hyde Park to my parents to walk the dog (while they enjoyed the Presidential Suite at my hotel for their anniversary), meeting Ray there as he got out of work in Hanover, driving all the way back in town for a 7:10pm start game, this parking perk allowed us to be 20 minutes early for the game and enjoy those fancy drinks :) It also allowed us old folks to be home by 11pm (and by home I mean Hyde Park to watch the dog).

My life is full of cute dogs this week. That would be Chip, my parents dog that I forced them to get 5 years ago. This picture would be from us watching him at our apartment when my parents went to Amsterdam a year ago. My landlord was not please! Hence the rushing to Hyde Park....Ugh. I can't wait to have a place where I can have a dog of my own. For now stealing other people's dogs temporarily works for me.

Anyways, I digress. Thank you Casey/Sarah for the great tickets last minute to the game! Well, I guess I should thank the rich guy they belonged to who passed them down to Sarah in Sales, who then passed them down to Casey in Guest Services, who then passed them down to me in HR. Work does have its perks!
